Introducing the blog and events at The Growth Folks®

Why we added a blog and events to the free tools, tactics and course: what each one is for, what to expect and how to take part.

By The Growth Folks® 2 min read

The Growth Folks® started with free tools, a library of growth tactics and a free course. That left two gaps. Analysis and opinion don’t fit a step-by-step playbook, and there was nowhere to learn alongside other people doing the same job. So we added a blog and events.

What the blog is for

The Growth Tactics library tells you how to run one tactic, and the Learn Growth Marketing course teaches the frameworks behind them. The blog picks up what neither can.

Some posts deal with what changed and what to do about it: search with AI answers, new email sender rules, the automation Meta and Google keep adding to their ad platforms. Others are decision guides, on questions like which attribution model to trust, product-led or sales-led, and which channel to try first. There will be case studies of what real companies did, with sources and the parts you can copy. And there will be experiment write-ups covering what was tested, how it was measured and what held up.

Every article links to the tactic or lesson with the step-by-step detail, so “why” is one click from “how”. Numbers come with sources. When we are not sure, we say so.

What the events will be

Events are coming soon. Four formats are planned:

  1. Live build workshops, where a small group builds one thing together, such as a growth model or a tracking plan.
  2. Live teardowns. Attendees send in a landing page, onboarding flow or ad account, and we review a few on the call.
  3. Practitioner roundtables: off-the-record conversations on one topic, with certified community members invited first.
  4. City meetups, with short talks from operators and then time to meet people doing the same job.

Online sessions come first because anyone can join. In-person meetups follow in the cities where most readers are.

How to take part

Every article has a share link, and the RSS feed includes new posts. New events go to the weekly email before they appear anywhere else, so that is where to get invites first.

You can also shape the programme. Email team@thegrowthfolks.com with a topic you want covered, a city for a meetup or a venue you can offer. If your product helps growth teams, we are open to sponsoring partners for events, clearly labelled as such.

Tactics and the course are for the “how”. The blog is for the “why” and for what changed, and events are where you practise both with other people. The latest articles are on the blog; subscribe below to hear about the first events.

Questions people ask

How often will new articles go out?

We publish when an article is ready rather than to a fixed quota. The newest article goes to the weekly email, so subscribing is the easiest way to keep up.

Are the events free?

Many will be. Some hands-on workshops may be paid to cover the cost of running small groups. Every event page shows the price before you register.

Can I suggest a topic or a city for a meetup?

Yes. Email team@thegrowthfolks.com with the topic or city. Requests from readers decide where the first meetups happen.
