If you sell on noon, most of your admin is the same handful of checks: what came in overnight, what has run out, which prices need to move for a sale, and why a listing isn’t live. Our free noon Seller MCP connector lets you do those checks by asking Claude in a sentence, and make the changes after you’ve seen a preview. Below is what it does, how to set it up, the prompts we’d start with, and the limits you should know before you point it at a live store.
MCP in one paragraph
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude call another service’s API on your behalf. A connector is the bridge. You type “which of my SKUs are out of stock in Saudi Arabia?”, Claude works out that it needs your stock levels, calls the noon connector, the connector asks noon’s official Partner API, and the answer comes back into the chat. Claude never logs in to your seller portal as you, and it can only use the actions the connector exposes.
What the noon connector can read and change
It has 13 tools. Nine read data and four change it.
On the read side, Claude can see which seller account is connected, your warehouses, your orders, stock levels, prices and MSRP per country, offer status (whether each offer is live and what is blocking it), product content with its QC status and rejection reasons, noon’s categories, and the attributes a category needs before you can list in it.
On the change side, it can update prices and MSRP, update stock, switch an offer on or off sale, and create or update product content. Claude asks before it uses any of these.
There is nothing for deleting products, renaming SKUs, cancelling orders or handling shipments. Those actions are blocked in the connector’s code, so no prompt can reach them.
Five seller jobs, with prompts to copy
The prompts below are written the way a seller would type them. Claude decides which tools to call, so you don’t need to name them.
The morning order check
List yesterday’s orders and today’s so far, grouped by warehouse. Flag any SKU that appears in more than five orders.
Useful before the team starts packing. If you sell in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ask for the split by country too. Follow up in the same chat: “Which of those SKUs have less than 10 units left?”
The out-of-stock sweep
Which of my offers are live but have zero stock in the UAE? Then list SKUs with under 5 units in any warehouse.
The first half finds listings that show on noon but can’t sell. The second is your reorder list. If a supplier delivery has just landed, you can follow with “Set stock for these 12 SKUs to the quantities in this table”, paste the table, and check the preview.
Price adjustment for a sale
For the weekend sale, cut the price of every SKU in this list by 10% in Saudi Arabia. Keep MSRP as it is. Show me the before and after first.
You’ll get a table of current and proposed prices in SAR. Read it. If one line looks wrong (a bundle priced as a single unit, say), tell Claude to drop it and show the preview again. After the sale, ask it to put the old prices back; the earlier preview is still in the chat, so Claude has the original numbers.
A single step can’t move a price by more than 30%. A deeper discount has to go in two confirmed steps, which is deliberate friction.
Fixing listing content in English and Arabic
This SKU was rejected in QC. Show me the rejection reason and the current English and Arabic titles and descriptions. Suggest fixes for both, then update the content after I approve.
noon listings carry content in both languages, and Arabic copy is often where the mistakes sit, because it was translated in a hurry. Claude can read the rejection reason, check what the category requires, and draft both versions. Have someone who reads Arabic look at the draft before you confirm. A fluent-sounding title can still use the wrong word for your product.
Which offers are inactive, and why
List every offer that is not live in the UAE or Saudi Arabia and tell me what is blocking each one.
The offer status tool returns the reason noon gives, so you get a list you can work through: missing stock, price issues, content still in QC. Group it by reason and fix the biggest group first.
Set it up in Claude
You need a Claude account and a noon seller account you’re allowed to manage.
- In Claude, open Customize > Connectors (Settings > Connectors in older versions) and add a custom connector.
- Paste
https://mcp.thegrowthfolks.com/noon-mcpas the URL and click Connect. - You’re sent to noon’s own sign-in page. Sign in with noon and approve access.
- Start a new chat and ask “Which noon seller account am I connected to?” to check it worked.
The connector also works in other MCP clients that support remote connectors with OAuth sign-in; add the same URL there. Anthropic’s help article on custom connectors covers the Claude side in more detail.
The guardrails, and why they exist
noon has no draft mode. When a price or stock change is sent to the Partner API, it is live on the storefront. So the safety has to sit in the connector, and it does:
- Every change returns a before-and-after preview first. Nothing is applied until you confirm.
- A price can move by at most 30% in one step.
- A price of zero is refused, and so is an MSRP below the selling price.
- One change covers at most 50 items, so a misread prompt can’t reprice your whole catalogue.
- Deletes, SKU renames, cancellations and shipment actions aren’t available at all.
These limits lower the odds of an expensive mistake. They don’t make a wrong change right. If you confirm a 9% cut on the wrong 40 SKUs, it goes live, and you’ll have to change it back.
What happens to your account and data
You sign in on noon’s page, so we never see your noon password. noon issues a dedicated API key for the connection, which we store encrypted and use only to answer your requests. Order and customer data passes through the connector to answer the question you asked and is not stored.
To revoke access, disconnect the connector in Claude, then remove the key under API Users in the noon partner portal. Doing both cuts it off completely.
Honest caveats
Claude can misread a request or get an answer wrong. “Cut prices on the summer range” means something specific to you and something vaguer to an assistant. Name SKUs, paste lists, state the country and the currency, and read every preview as if a new hire had prepared it.
The connector is built by The Growth Folks® on noon’s public Partner API. It isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by noon, and noon still decides what happens to your listings and account. It’s free, and our MCP connector terms set out the rest, including your responsibility for the changes you approve.
We’ll add connectors for other platforms over time; they’ll be listed on the MCP connectors page. For now, the quickest way to see whether this fits your week is to connect it and run the morning order check tomorrow. Copy the URL from the noon Seller connector page. If something doesn’t work, email team@thegrowthfolks.com with what you asked and what you saw.
Questions people ask
Is the noon MCP connector made by noon?
No. The Growth Folks® built it on noon's public Partner API. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by noon.
How much does the noon connector cost?
Nothing. The connector is free. You need your own Claude account and your own noon seller account.
Can Claude change my noon prices without asking me?
No. Every change comes back as a before-and-after preview and is applied only after you confirm it. Once you confirm, the change goes live on noon, because noon has no draft mode.
Does the connector store my orders or customer data?
No. Order and customer data passes through the connector to answer your question and is not kept. Your noon password is never seen, because you sign in on noon's own page.
Which noon marketplaces does it work with?
The UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, wherever your seller account sells on noon.
